Engineering Sales Associates was founded in 1961 by Addison Bell and Art Pue as a Manufacturers Rep. firm specializing in Industrial Liquid Filtration and Compressed Air Drying, Filtration and Purification products. The original concept and planning stages took place while both were working in the Materials and Process Engineering Group at the old Douglas Aircraft Nike Gercules Missile plant located in Charlotte NC.

Engineering Sales Associate has not strayed far from its roots. Engineering Sales Associates of the Southeast, INC.(Incorporated in 1968) is currently a major industrial stocking distributor located in Charlotte, NC, specializing in virtually every facet of the Industrial Compressed air field and Liquid Filtration Products. We are an Authorized Dealer for Gardner Denver air compressors and many other fine compressed air products. Having originally represented the Joy Reciprocating Air compressor parts as well as genuine Gardner Denver parts, oil, air compressors, dryers, filters, evacuators, etc. ESA is still loyal to working with and for the best in compressed air. Our large factory certified service department specializes in Joy double acting reciprocating air compressor repairs and rebuilds, as trailer mounted electric air compressors ranging from 25 to 150 HP. We also represent several very high quality manufactures of compressed air drying and filtering equipment, such Deltech, Airteck, Ultrafilter, etc.

Engineering Sales maintains an extensive inventory of premium Liquid Filtration Products in its Charlotte, NC warehouse. These include the largest selection of Osmonics, Inc. Purtrex, Hytrex, and Selex depth filter cartridges as well as membranes pleated cartridges in the Southeast. ESA also sells many of the Ametek and Harmsco filter cartridges, Diatomaceous Earth, Perlite, and Cellulose produced by Harborlite, Cellite, and Grefco.
